Your default journal is the journal at the top of your list of journals. The default journal is where new entries will be added when creating an entry while viewing All Entries or when creating an entry via IFTTT.
To set your default journal, follow these steps:
iOS
Go to Day One > Settings > Journals.
Drag the journal you want as your new default to the top of the journal list by tapping and holding the drag icon (three lines on the right), then dragging up.
Mac
Go to Day One > Settings > Journals.
Drag the journal you want as your new default to the top of the journal list by clicking and holding the drag icon (fours lines on the right), then dragging up.
