Moving entries to another journal

How to move entries in bulk to another journal on iOS, macOS, and Android

To move entries from one journal, follow these steps:

iOS

  1. Swipe on an entry from right to left and tap the Multi-Select Tool (checkmark icon). Or tap the More button (•••) at the top right and choose Select Entries. This will invoke select mode, and a circle will appear beside each entry.
  2. Tap the circle by each entry you wish to move. Alternatively, you can tap Select All to include all entries.
  3. Tap the folder icon with the arrow to choose a journal.
  4. In the journal picker that appears, select the journal to which you wish to move your entries.

Within a single entry, tap the More button (•••) at the top right, then choose Move.

macOS

  1. Display the journal pane by clicking its icon.
  2. Select the entries you want to move to a journal. Use Command+Click to select multiple entries.
  3. Drag and drop them on the desired journal in the journal pane. -OR- Right-click and select Move > Then select Journal.

While viewing an individual entry, click the journal name at the bottom left to choose a different journal.

Android

  1. Tap the More button (•••) at the top right and choose Select Entries. This will invoke select mode, and a circle will appear beside each entry.
  2. Tap the circle by each entry you wish to move.
  3. Tap the folder icon with the arrow to choose a journal.
  4. In the journal picker that appears, select the journal to which you wish to move your entries.
